Hardinsyah membantah mitos tersebut.
Menurutnya, jika tubuh terasa berenergi setelah makan, berarti makanan tersebut diolah dengan baik oleh tubuh. Sebaliknya, jika setelah makan malah merasa lemas, berarti makanan tersebut tdk bisa dicerna dengan baik
Ia kemudian menambahkan, setelah makan mi instan, tubuh akan merasa berenergi, yang berarti mi instan dapat langsung diolah oleh tubuh.
Makan nasi dgn mi instan. Baik atau tidak?
Jawabannya adalah tidak baik. Karena baik nasi dan mi instan sama-sama karbohidrat. Hardinsyah menyarankan untuk meragamkan asupan makanan, misalnya, memakan mi instan dengan telur dan sayur untuk menyeimbangkan asupan protein dan vitamin.

Jadi seporsi mie instan saja sudah hampir memenuhi setengah dari jumlah asupan natrium yg disarankan.
Efek Samping MSG
Mie instan juga kaya penyedap masakan MSG (monosodium glutamat). Ada yang alergi terhadap MSG, atau juga merasa sakit kepala atau sakit dada setelah menyantap mie instan. Konsumsi MSG juga berkorelasi dengan penyakit lain, termasuk kanker.
