"Pernah ke Korea, itu saya ini (tugas) dari kantor ikut seleksi latihan di sana," kata Daniel sembari berbincang santai di Mako Paspampres, Jl Tanah Abang 2, Jakarta Pusat, Sabtu (11/11/2017).
Daniel juga memajang beberapa fotonya saat berada di Korea Selatan pada akun Facebook miliknya. Tetapi tak ada foto latihan gabungan Presidential Security Service (PSS) yang dia unggah.

"PSS Korea itu sama saja pengamanan presiden juga, latihannya nembak yang kayak gitu, saya renang juga ada," kata Daniel.
Jokowi sempat mengajak Moon Jae-in blusukan ke Mall BTM di Bogor saat itu. Paspampres Korea Selatan tampak tiba terlebih dahulu untuk mengecek lokasi. Prosedur pengamanan Paspampres Korsel tampak lebih ketat.
"Kebetulan saya kemarin lagi nggak dinas, jadi nggak tahu," kata dia.
Tetapi menurut Daniel, prosedur pengamanan semua pemimpin negara sama saja. Namun memang Paspampres di Indonesia diminta lebih membaur dan humanis.
Selain Korsel, Daniel juga pernah mendapat kesempatan mengawal Jokowi saat melakukan kunjungan ke luar negeri. Pengalaman itu dia rasakan tahun lalu.
"(Rangkaian kunker) yang di Eropa. Ke Inggris, Jerman, Belanda, dan Belgia," sebut Daniel.
